Trent can help you set an appointment and will help you look for designs in the myriad of reference material available at the shop. Custom work is also welcome and encouraged. If you have a design you want done, bring it in. Dawn will work with you to be sure you get exactly what you want. Dawn also does cosmetic tattoos and cover ups of old tattoos that you aren't happy with.
Getting a tattoo is a serious decision. It is important to make an informed and educated choice when choosing a tattoo and an artist to do that tattoo that will be with you the rest of your life. Tattooing is regulated in Oregon, and any reputable shop must be certified and meet stringent health and sanitation requirements. At Lucky Club you are guaranteed a clean, healthy environment to get that piece of art that you have been wanting. All needles are single use and are discarded after use. Ink is put in small containers and used only on you, the extra being thrown out as well after your tattoo is finished. Gloves are non-latex as more and more people are finding out they are allergic to them. The barrels that the needle rides in are ran through an autoclave for sterilization after every use. (You can see a picture of our autoclave in the gallery under "Shop" photos.) At Lucky Club, we take yours and our health and safety very seriously. You must be a legal adult (18 years of age) in Oregon to get a tattoo. "But what if I have my parents consent?" Doesn't matter, we can not and will not tattoo any one under the age of 18.
The second most important factor after health and safety is getting an artist that you are confident and comfortable with, and that does work that you feel is what you are looking for in a tattoo artist. Please be sure to look through our gallery and you will see the art speaks for itself. If you look through the gallery and aren't convinced you can get it here, check other tattoo shops in the area and find someone that is right for you. As much as we want your business at Lucky Club, we are more concerned that you get the tattoo that you want. Dawn is a very talented artist and is very skilled at everything from Tribal, Celtic, Pin-ups, Touch ups, Cover ups, Old School, Nu Skool and everything in between. You will find that she is able to do anything you want done, and that you will be happy with the results.
